Greetings, I’m Chaplain Marisa Estrella. My journey of service began in 1997 when I joined the United States Army as a chaplain assistant. During my military career, I completed two tours of duty and was honorably discharged in November 2006. Having experienced the challenges of military life and the transition to civilian life firsthand, I’ve made it my mission to support our veterans especially those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. I am committed to ensuring they receive the care, stability, and respect they deserve, helping them rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.

We are not gathered here solely to remember the past.
